Sarajevo Open Centre has made its contribution to this report by submitting all the relevant data on hate crimes on the ground of sexual orientation and gender identity documented in 2014 as well as other relevant information concerning regulation and combat against hate crime.
During last week (March 23-27), Sarajevo Open Centre sumitted two written submissions to the European Union Delegation in BiH for the BiH 2014 Progress Report: on the state of the LGBT rights, and the state of rights of women in BiH for the October 2014 – March 2015 period.
Training for the improvement of the capacity of police officers was held on 25th of March in Zenica. The goal of education was to present participants with cases of bias motivated crimes that could help them in their future work in prevention and fight against bias motivated crimes.
