Initiative for EU monitoring is working on proposals for the reform of the Ombudsman Institution

These two-day consultations were aimed at informing the members of the Initiative on European law, EU integration, the mechanisms for the protection of human rights, independent human rights bodies, as well as the manner in which Croatia formed these bodies (good practices) in order for members to be devoted to drafting the Law on the Human Rights Ombudsman and to propose amendments to the Anti-discrimination Law in the coming period.

For the first time in BiH history: Members of parliaments discuss LGBT rights

A three-day seminar on LGBT rights in the context of European integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina is being closed today (Friday). The goal of the seminar, which has been organized by the Sarajevo Open Centre with the support of the Norwegian Embassy, has been to inform representatives of human rights and gender equality institutions and bodies about the problems and needs of LGBT people in BiH.
