For the purpose of analyzing the study of gender equality in the curricula of the universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo Open Centre sent inquiries to 33 public faculties of social sciences and humanities. The aim of this analysis is to gain insight on whether and to what extent gender equality is the subject of study at higher education institutions and how much professors and students are interested in this issue.

After the analysis, Sarajevo Open Centre plans to advocate the inclusion of a group of subjects on gender equality in the curricula, and is also currently working on the preparation of textbooks on this subject, which would support the faculties in BiH.
