The Verdict Against the Attackers at the Merlinka Queer Festival

Three years after the attack on the Merlinka festival which was held in 2014, an indictment was made against two identified attackers. The court confirmed the indictment on May 12, 2017, and in February 2018, a conviction was issued against one of the attackers by which the attacker is convicted for six months sentence in prison, and the sentence will not be executed if the accused does not commit a new criminal offense within two years work.

SOC Sent Requests for Appointment of the Council of Ministers in Accordance with the ZORS

The Sarajevo Open Centre has submitted requests to all representatives of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and to the parties whose leaders have talked about the formation of the executive power at the state level to act in accordance with the Gender Equality Law in BiH when appointing the Council of Ministers of BiH.
