Third promotion of Women’s Movement in BiH in Mostar
Sarajevo Open Centre, CURE Foundation and Center for Empirical Research of Religion in Bosnia and Herzegovina cordially invite you to the Zlatiborka Popov Momčinović’s The Women’s Movement in Bosnia and Herzegovina – In the Words of a Counterculture book promotion, on Monday, January 20, 2014, at 5 pm at Nansen Dialogue Centre in Mostar.
The book will be promoted by the author, as well as Amila Ždralović, one of the book reviewers. The promotion will be moderated by Saša Gavrić.
This book is a result of research on the formation of the women’s movement in BiH, when women started to raise their united voices against discrimination and unequal opportunities. This research shows us how social ideologies influenced women to work on positive social changes and the real strength of the women’s movement in BiH, regardless of the time these women lived in.
This book is a combination of theory and empirical research, and it was produced with the support of Open Society Fund of BiH.
For additional information, please contact Emina Velagić: 033 207 561 or [email protected]
We hope you will join us at the promotion.
