Faculty of Political Science, University in Belgrade, Faculty of Political Science, University of Podgorica and the NGO Sarajevo Open Centre jointly implement a scientific project called Comparative performance analysis of democratic parliaments of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. The project was implemented within the framework of the Regional Research Promotion Programme, which was coordinated by the Institute for Central and Eastern Europe at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and project leader Professor Slaviša Orlović from the Faculty of Political Sciences University in Belgrade.

Bosnian team of this project consisted of Assistant Professor Goran Marković (Law Faculty, University in East Sarajevo), Maja Sahadžić, LLM (International University Sarajevo), Damir Banović, LLM (Sarajevo Open Centre) and Saša Gavrić, MA (Sarajevo Open Centre).

In this study, our goal was to explore the following questions: legislative and control functions of parliaments, transparency in the parliament, and the impact of international actors on their work. Results were presented at a conference in Belgrade, and at roundtables in Sarajevo and Podgorica. All papers are published in the collection of papers, in Bosnian, Montenegrin, Croatian and Serbian language and in English.
