Nine Young Female Activists From Bosnia and Herzegovina Completed a Six-Day School of LGBTIQ Activism

Through our work, we strive to empower LGBTIQ people to fight for their rights through various types of work and activism and also to connect with each other and build a strong community. That was the idea behind the Activist School, which took place in September.

The school’s carefully crafted curriculum focused on online activism but also included essential lessons on the basics of activism and feminism, forms of activism, the intersectionality of activism, and community building.

Thank you to the great lecturers who passed on their knowledge and experience to the young participants: Jasmina Čaušević, Lejla Huremović, Slađan Tomić, Edina Šečerović, and Dina Bajraktarević! We are proud of the entire team of participants who not only gained practical knowledge but also courage, strength, and connections and came up with new ideas and initiatives.
