Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina: 150 civil society organizations call the government to accep the recommendations of the UPR
On behalf of the 150 civil society organizations in BiH, today in Sarajevo TRIAL, MyRight and Justice Network presented some of the key recommendations of the Universal Periodic Review of the United Nations. This relatively new instrument of the United Nations considers and assesses the state of human rights in all countries. In November 2014, BiH received 167 recommendations submitted by other states, NGOs or UN agencies. The common conclusion of all the organizations that participated in the preparation of the report was that the authorities, as soon as the government is formed, immediately accept the recommendations and begin their implementation without delay.
