Coalition for Combat Against Hate Speech and Hate Crime and Initiative for Monitoring the European Integration of BiH sent a letter to Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of BiH requesting active participation of civil society organizations (members of these two coalitions) in the process of drafting the Law on ban of incitement and spreading of ethnic, religious, racial and other forms of hatred in BiH.

Keeping in mind the fact that civil society organizations actively deal with issues of hate crimes and hate speech, there is a need to actively include CSOs in the drafting of this Law, in order to contribute towards better regulation, and ensuing better protection.

We honestly hope that our suggestion will be accepted, and in this way we would intensify cooperation between coalitions of civil society organizations and relevant Ministries.
