In cooperation with the Center for the Education of Judges and Prosecutors of FBiH, we held a seminar for judges and prosecutors. We dealt with the topics of hate crimes, hate speech, and discrimination against LGBTI persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to strengthen, sensitize and strengthen the capacity of the FBiH judicial community. The two-day lectures were led by Professor Marija Lučić Ćatić and Professor Midhat Izmirlija.

The participants of the training praised the organization and content of the seminar. “The topic truly hit the spot. One of the best seminars”, “Excellent training with many examples, excellent interaction, useful for practice”, “Wonderfully organized training with a lot of professional and practical experience” – these are only some of the comments.

This activity represents a continuation of the long-term education of the judiciary about the problems faced by LGBTI people.
