Thematic Session on Hate Crime Regulation in FBiH Parliament is Needed
Coalition for Combat against Hate Speech and Hate Crime has sent a proposition to the Parliament of FBiH House of Representatives’ Commission for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms to organize a thematic session on the subject of adequate regulation of hate crimes within the Criminal Code of Federation of BiH.
Such a session would have a significant impact on the process of regulation of hate crimes, and could bring together all the relevant institutions and organizations involved in the process of initiating amendments to the Criminal Code of the Federation of BiH.Discussions and conclusions, and exchange of experiences and proposals that would be presented at the session, could undoubtedly aid in finding the best possible model of amendments to the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in defining the necessary future measures for adequate implementation of these solutions and combat against hate crimes
In addition to this proposal, the Coalition submitted to the Commission the proposal of amendments to the Criminal Code of FBiH developed by the members of the Coalition with the goal to ensure adequate regulation of hate crimes.
