PINK REPORT 2026 – Annual Report on the State of Human Rights of LGBTI People in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The publication provides an overview of the state of human rights of LGBTI persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2025, highlighting the significant gap between formally guaranteed rights and their actual implementation in practice. Although certain legal and institutional advances have been made, discrimination, violence, hate speech, and institutional inefficiency continue to significantly affect the everyday lives of LGBTI persons. The report analyzes political and social barriers, the rise of anti-gender initiatives, and the uneven availability of support services across the country, while also presenting positive examples of judicial protection and the development of support services. Particular emphasis is placed on the need for stronger, coordinated, and inclusive institutional action to ensure that the rights of LGBTI persons are genuinely enforceable, rather than merely formally recognized.

The Pink Report is divided into thematic areas and offers both practical examples and recommendations for improvement.
