PUBLICATION: Representation, representativeness and visibility of female candidates during the 2018 General Election Campaign

The publication presents the results of a study aimed at finding out whether female candidates appeared less in the media during the BiH Election campaign in the 2018 and whether political parties promoted male candidates more.

The study seeks to determine the relationship between media relations with political parties towards female candidates and gender imbalances in the PD PSBiH, using statistical indicators. The study analyzed the textual, video and photographic content of articles published during the election campaign in ten different online media, as well as on the online platforms of nine political parties in BiH, in relation to the selected candidates, as well as content published by their candidates on their ownFacebook pages.
