About the School: This year, the Žarana Papić School of Feminism offers the academic-activist educational programme, with the aim to, through the four theoretical-practical modules, provide the students with the feminist education about the practices, theories and concepts needed for the professional and critical public work and activism in the national, international governmental and nongovernmental organisations.

The first obligatory module is called Introduction to feminisms: history, terms, theory, while the second obligatory module is called The state, law and equality. Besides these two obligatory modules, the students will have the opportunity to choose one more module they want to attend. The facultative are – Gender equality and public policies (that will be focused on the practical work) and Culture, ideology, ethics (that will be focused on the theoretical knowledge). The Seminar, that will be realised in the second half of the year, will refer to advocacy and activism through the feminist intervention in the public space, or to an advocacy action.
The application process: Every adult person who lives in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is interested in gaining new knowledge and developing critical thinking that can help them in creating social changes through the advocacy activities, activism or through different science and art work, can apply for the school. Everyone is welcome: students of humanities, social sciences, technical sciences, natural sciences or the arts, as well as all those who do not study.
