Creating a safe digital space that is inspired by end-users
Read the Masha Durkalic’s article (only on BCS language) on the lecture within the cycle Somebody said feminism?, about Cyber violence and feminism. The lecturer was Amina Beriša – Liora, the postgraduate candidate of Security and Peace Studies at the Faculty of Political Science. She has long-standing social engagement on issues of women’s human rights, violence prevention, and Internet rights and freedoms. She is currently engaged at the Institute for Social Research of the Faculty of Political Science – Department of Information Security. We discussed a wide range of cyber violence expressions in the context of vulnerable groups, particularly women and girls, in the whole area of ICT. Sarajevo Open Centre and Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2017 organise 6 lectures in the scope of the fifth cycle of Somebody said feminism?!, whose topics will be related to rural life, pornography, poverty, music, cyber revenge and trans* women.
