Tanja Miletić Oručević is a theatre director, pedagogue in the field of dramatic arts, translator and an activist. She did finished her master studies at the Academy of Theatre in Krakow, Poland, and her doctoral studies at the Academy in Brno, Czech Republic. She has directed more than 30 plays in professional theatres in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia and Italy. She has participated in MESS more than once, and also in other respectable festival in the region.

She translates from Polish and English, writes about the problems of contemporary drama and theatre and gender. She is an active feminist in her art and political work. She lives in Mostar and works as the director of Mostarski teatar mladih.

She is currently producing a chick lit play.
