{"id":4534,"date":"2014-02-06T13:39:29","date_gmt":"2014-02-06T13:39:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soc.ba\/?p=4534"},"modified":"2014-02-06T13:52:34","modified_gmt":"2014-02-06T13:52:34","slug":"sarajevo-open-centre-contribution-to-ilga-europe-annual-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soc.ba\/en\/sarajevo-open-centre-contribution-to-ilga-europe-annual-review\/","title":{"rendered":"Sarajevo Open Centre contribution to ILGA-Europe Annual Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive  alignleft\" alt=\"ilga\" src=\"http:\/\/soc.ba\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/ilga.jpg\" \/>In January of 2014, Sarajevo Open centre had submitted its short report on the status of human rights of LGBT persons in BiH to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ilga-europe.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">ILGA-Europe.<\/a> This report is the contribution of SOC to ILGA-Europe\u2019s Annual Review aiming to depict the development of human rights of LGBT persons in Europe in the last year. This Annual Review will present changes which occurred on the regional and national level, and the challenges remaining for the individual European countries as well as the existing positive practices.<\/p> <p>This year\u2019s contribution of SOC was submitted as a part of the project \u201eEnhancing Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans rights in BiH in line with EU standards\u201c financed by the European Union and implemented by Sarajevo Open Centre in partnership with Foundation Mediacentar.<\/p> <p>Sarajevo Open Centre\u2019s report covers several different areas, including bias motivated crimes and speech, equality, diversity and tolerance, education, freedom of assembly, legal gender recognition, cooperation with law enforcement institutions and the attitudes and opinions of the public.
