\"frontpage\"Sarajevo Open Center<\/span> organizes a<\/span> theatrical reading of<\/span> revolutionary<\/span> documentary drama<\/span> Seven,<\/span> based<\/span> on the<\/span> life stories of<\/span> seven<\/span> women\u2019s rights<\/span> activists<\/span> from around the world<\/span>, which<\/span> will be<\/span> part of a tour<\/span> through the countries<\/span> of the Western Balkans<\/span> and will be performed in Sarajevo, Mostar<\/span> and Banja Luka<\/span>, from 5-7<\/span>. November<\/span> 2013<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>

Theatrical reading<\/span> of the play<\/span> \u201cSeven\u201d was<\/span> initiated and<\/span> produced by<\/span> award-winning<\/span> playwright<\/span>, actress and producer<\/span> Hedda<\/span> Krausz<\/span> Sj\u00f6gren<\/span>, in Sweden 2008<\/span>. Each reading<\/span> is taking<\/span> a unique<\/span> ensemble<\/span> of actors, politicians<\/span>, students and activists, successful<\/span> and<\/span> influential women<\/span>.<\/p>

Drama was performed in<\/span> 19 countries<\/span>, gathered around<\/span> 15,000<\/span> people<\/span>, and an ensemble<\/span> was build of <\/span>very well known<\/span> and<\/span> successful<\/span> women<\/span> from different spheres<\/span> of life,<\/span> including<\/span> an American actress<\/span> and multiple<\/span> Oscar winner<\/span> Meryl<\/span> Streep<\/span> and<\/span> former U.S.<\/span> Secretary of State<\/span> Hillary<\/span> Clinton<\/span>.<\/p>

The Project<\/span> Seven<\/span>, in addition to stage<\/span> dramatic<\/span> readings<\/span> of the text<\/span>, includes<\/span> supporting<\/span> educational activities<\/span> that will<\/span> be<\/span> the focus of<\/span> the fight<\/span> against gender violence and<\/span> to protect<\/span> women\u2019s rights.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cSeven\u201d<\/span> is a revolutionary<\/span> documentary that<\/span> is based on<\/span> interviews with<\/span> seven<\/span> women\u2019s rights<\/span> activists<\/span> from all<\/span> around the world<\/span>, and whose difficult life<\/span> stories<\/span> and<\/span> struggles<\/span> are<\/span> amazing<\/span> source of inspiration<\/span>: Ferida<\/span> Azizi<\/span> (Afghanistan<\/span>), Inez<\/span> McCormack<\/span> (Northern Ireland<\/span>), Marina Pisklakova<\/span>–<\/span>Parker (Russia<\/span>), Annabella<\/span> de<\/span> Leon<\/span> (Guatemala<\/span>), Mukhtar<\/span> Mai<\/span> (Pakistan<\/span>), Mu<\/span> Sochua<\/span> (<\/span>Cambodia) and<\/span> Hafsat<\/span> Abiola<\/span> (Nigeria<\/span>).<\/p>

During <\/span> 2013<\/span>, the \u201cSeven\u201d<\/span> will be performed<\/span> in<\/span> six Balkan<\/span> countries:<\/span> Albania<\/span>, BiH, Croatia<\/span>, Kosovo, Macedonia<\/span> and Serbia<\/span>. This project<\/span> in BiH will be jointly<\/span> implemented<\/span> by the Embassy of Sweden<\/span>, Civil Rights Defenders<\/span> and the<\/span> Sarajevo Open Center<\/span>.<\/p>
