For the seventh time in Sarajevo, Sarajevo Open Centre is organizing the International Queer Film Festival “Merlinka”, in the period from February 7 till February 9. For the seventh time in Sarajevo, Sarajevo Open Centre is organizing the International Queer Film Festival “Merlinka”, in the period from February 7 till February 9. The festival has been organized in Belgrade for the past ten years with the idea of \u200b\u200bpromoting films dealing with LGBTI themes. This year Merlinka in Sarajevo will showcase awarded films, talks about stage art representation of queer themes and characters, the presentation of the collection about sisterhood and unity, the concert of the group U pol ‘9 kod Sabe, from Croatia, a show of five Belgrade drag queens, while for good atmoshere and parties until dawn, will be in charge of DJs from BiH, Montenegro and Serbia. This year’s festival is held at two locations – at the Cinema Meeting Point and Club Monument.<\/p>
