{"id":14451,"date":"2017-08-09T09:17:04","date_gmt":"2017-08-09T09:17:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soc.ba\/?p=14451\/"},"modified":"2017-09-05T09:29:23","modified_gmt":"2017-09-05T09:29:23","slug":"we-held-the-education-on-the-rights-of-the-intersex-people-for-gender-institutional-mechanisms-in-bih","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soc.ba\/en\/we-held-the-education-on-the-rights-of-the-intersex-people-for-gender-institutional-mechanisms-in-bih\/","title":{"rendered":"We held the education on the rights of the Intersex people for Gender Institutional Mechanisms in BiH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"Sredinom jula teku\u0107e godine organizovale\/i smo edukaciju o pravima intespolnih osoba za gender institucionalne mehanizme u Bosni i Hercegovini.\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/soc.ba\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/slika-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>During the July 2017 we organized training on the rights of intersex people for Gender Institutional Mechanisms in Bosnia and Herzegovina. <\/span><span title=\"Tokom jednodnevne edukacije predstavnice\/i Agencije za ravnopravnost spolova BiH, Gender centra RS i Gender centra FBiH su imale\/i priliku upoznati se sa pravima, \u017eivotom ali i problemima sa kojim se interspolne osobe, kao jedna od najnevidljivijih grupa ljudi, suo\u010dava.\">During the one-day education the representatives of the Gender Equality Agency of BiH, the Gender Center of the RS and the Gender Center of FBiH, had the opportunity to hear more about intersex rights, life and problems faced by intersex people as one of the most invisible group of people. <\/span><span title=\"Facilitator edukacije je bio Kristian Ran\u0111elovi\u0107 iz Srbije, koji se ve\u0107 decenijama bavi LGBTI aktivizmom, sa posebnim naglaskom na prava trans i intespolnih osoba.  \">The education facilitator was Kristian Ran\u0111elovi\u0107 from Serbia, who has been active in LGBTI activism for decades, with special emphasis on the rights of trans and intersex people.<\/span><\/span><\/p> <p><span title=\"U prvom dijelu edukacije Kristian je govorio o tome \u0161ta sve trebamo znati o interspolnosti kako bismo \u0161to bolje razumjele\/i \u017eivote i potrebe interspolnih osoba.\">In the first part of the education, Kristian spoke about what we have to know in order to better understand the lives and needs of intersex people. <\/span><span title=\"Tokom drugog dijela edukacije je govorio o neophodnim koracima koji bi se trebali poduzeti u za\u0161titi ljudskih prava interspolnih osoba.\">During the second part of the education, he talked about the steps that should be taken to protect the human rights of intersex people. <\/span><span title=\"Ono \u0161to je dobro u trenutnom zakonodavstvu u BiH jeste da Zakon o zabrani diskriminacije odnedavno ima uklju\u010denu i zabranu diskriminacije na osnovu spolnih karakteristika, \u010dime su po prvi put zakonski prepoznate i interspolne osobe.\">One thing that is good in current legislation in BiH is that the Anti-Discrimination Law has recently included a ban on discrimination based on sex characteristics, which is the first time that intersex people are legally recognized by some law in BiH. <\/span><span title=\"U tre\u0107em dijelu edukacije se govorilo o ulozi institucija u za\u0161titi prava interspolnih osoba, u sklopu kojeg smo prolazile\/i kroz Prijedlog mjera za ravnopravnost LGBTI osoba za period 2017 \u2013 2019. koji je sa\u010dinio Sarajevski otvoreni centar, au kom se nalaze najbitnije mjere na kojima\">In the third part of the education, we spoke about the role of institutions in the protection of the rights of intersex people. As a part of the thirt session we were passed through the Proposed Measures for Equality of LGBTI People for the period 2017 &#8211; 2019, created by the Sarajevo Open Center.<\/span><span title=\"bi bilo potrebno raditi kako bi unaprijedili po\u0161tivanje i za\u0161titu prava LGBTI osoba u BiH.  \"><\/span><\/p> <p><span title=\"Zaklju\u010dak edukacije je bio da \u0107e se u narednom periodu zajedno sa gender institucionalnim mehanizmima raditi na pitanjima prava interspolnih osoba u BiH.\">The conclusion of the education was that Sarajevo Open Centre, together with gender institutional mechanisms, will work on better protection of intersex rights.<br \/> <\/span><\/p> <p>&nbsp;<\/p> ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During the July 2017 we organized training on the rights of intersex people for Gender Institutional Mechanisms in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
