{"id":12999,"date":"2016-11-16T11:00:08","date_gmt":"2016-11-16T11:00:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soc.ba\/en\/?p=12999"},"modified":"2016-11-16T11:00:08","modified_gmt":"2016-11-16T11:00:08","slug":"anti-discrimination-law-of-bih-unofficial-consolidated-text","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soc.ba\/en\/anti-discrimination-law-of-bih-unofficial-consolidated-text\/","title":{"rendered":"Anti-discrimination Law of BiH &#8211; unofficial consolidated text"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By adopting the law on amendments to the Anti-discrimination Law of BiH on today\u2019s session of the House of People of the BiH\u2019s Parliamentary Assembly (July 14<sup>th<\/sup> 2016), Bosnia and Herzegovina has finally advanced its legal framework on anti-discrimination.<\/p> <p><strong>Sexual orientation <\/strong>and<strong> gender identity<\/strong> are explicitly covered by the Law, and the correct legal terminology in local language is used (seksualna orijentacija, rodni identitet). The Law also explicitly states \u201c<strong>sex characteristics<\/strong>\u201d as a prohibited ground of discrimination.
