{"id":12142,"date":"2016-05-16T11:26:05","date_gmt":"2016-05-16T11:26:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soc.ba\/en\/?p=12142"},"modified":"2016-05-16T11:26:05","modified_gmt":"2016-05-16T11:26:05","slug":"overview-of-the-lectures-at-the-school-of-feminism-14-may-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/soc.ba\/en\/overview-of-the-lectures-at-the-school-of-feminism-14-may-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Overview of the lectures at the School of Feminism: 14 May 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/soc.ba\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Selma-1024x828.jpg\" alt=\"Selma\" \/>On Saturday, <strong>14 May<\/strong> the lectures of the <strong>Module 1<\/strong> (<em>Introduction to feminisms: history, terms, theory<\/em>) at this year\u2019s \u017darana Papi\u0107 School of Feminism took place. <strong>Selma Ke\u0161etovi\u0107<\/strong>, MA in gender studies and a writer, talked about the diversity and disputes within the feminist theory and practice.<\/p> <p>Selma dedicated the lecture to understanding and critical review of the key dissent points of the various waves of feminism, on different social phenomena, respectively on the key subject matters of the feminist thought and action, like sexuality\/body (pornography, prostitution, violence, child birth, abortion), power, equality\/diversity, oppression\/patriarchy, care, femininity\/masculinity, reproduction etc.<\/p> <p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/soc.ba\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/svi-2-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"svi 2\" \/><\/p> <p>On Tuesday, <strong>17 May<\/strong> the lectures start at 5:30 P.M. In the scope of the <strong>Module 1<\/strong> Sandra Zlotrg will talk about the feminist linguistics, and in the scope of the <strong>Module 2<\/strong> Adnan Kadriba\u0161i\u0107 will talk about the institutionalization of gender equality: gender mainstreaming, gender-responsive budgets, as well as about the, so called, positive measures and quotas.<\/p> <p>&nbsp;<\/p> <p><em>The realisation of the \u017darana Papi\u0107 School of Feminism is being financially supported by the Swedish Government via the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida).<\/em><\/p> <p><em> <\/em><\/p> <p>&nbsp;<\/p> ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Saturday, 14 May the lectures of the Module 1 (Introduction to feminisms: history, terms, theory) at this year\u2019s \u017darana Papi\u0107 School of Feminism took place.
