She graduated from the Department of Comparative Literature and Library Science at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo. She obtained her MA in Religious Studies at the Center for Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Studies of the University of Sarajevo. In the period from 2007 to 2012 she was professionally engaged in the field of theatre and literature. Since 2010 she has been working with Sarajevo Open Center on various project related to human rights and political participation. She is one of the editors of the publication <em>Politic\u030cka participacija u BiH <\/em>published by Sarajevo Open Centre. She translated the book <em>Born to be gay: Historija homoseksualnosti <\/em>into BCS. Currently, Arijana is the director of Boris Divkovic\u0301 Foundation.
