{"id":2382,"date":"2013-09-17T07:57:00","date_gmt":"2013-09-17T07:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/soc.ba\/?page_id=2382"},"modified":"2023-02-21T12:42:47","modified_gmt":"2023-02-21T12:42:47","slug":"advocacy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/soc.ba\/en\/programmes\/lgbt\/advocacy\/","title":{"rendered":"Advocacy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"Sarajevski otvoreni centar u okviru svoga programskog rada se intenzivno bavi zagovaranjem novih javnih politika, te provedbom postoje\u0107ih.\">Sarajevo Open Centre as part of its program of work has been devoted to the advocacy of new public policies and the implementation of existing ones. <\/span><span title=\"Na\u0161 rad se fokusira na prava LGBT osoba i prava \u017eena, ali se dodatno bavimo i op\u0161te ljudskoprava\u0161kim pitanjima koja su od zna\u010daja za \u017eene i LGBT osobe.&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt; &lt;p&gt;\">Our work focuses on rights of LGBT person and women\u2019s rights, but additionally we work on different human rights and general issues of importance to women and LGBT people.<\/span><\/span><\/p> <p><span title=\"U okviru na\u0161eg zagovara\u010dkog rada na pravima LGBT osoba u periodu od 2015. do 2017. fokusira\u0107emo se na:&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt; &lt;p&gt;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">As part of our advocacy work on the rights of LGBT persons in the period from 2015 to 2017 we will focus on:<br \/> <\/span><\/p> <ul> <li><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"monitoring stanja prava LGBT osoba u Bosni i Hercegovini;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">Monitoring the rights of LGBT persons in Bosnia and Herzegovina;<\/span><\/span><\/li> <li><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"izvje\u0161tavanje o stanju prava LGBT osoba, kroz Rozi izvje\u0161taj.\">Reporting on the rights of LGBT person, through Pink Report \u2013 <\/span><span title=\"Godi\u0161nji izvje\u0161taj o stanju prava LGBT osoba, te kroz podneske i izvje\u0161taje prema doma\u0107im institucijama i me\u0111unarodnim tijelima (ia EU Progress Report, CEDAW, UPR);&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">Annual Report on the Rights of LGBT Persons, and the submissions and reports by domestic institutions and international bodies (ia EU Progress Report, the CEDAW, UPR);<\/span><\/span><\/li> <li><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"zakonsko regulisanje zlo\u010dina iz mr\u017enje i govora mr\u017enje, te sveobuhvatno upoznavanje pravosu\u0111a i policije o istim;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">legal regulation of the hate crimes and hate speech, and comprehensive introduction of the judiciary and the police on the same; <\/span><\/span><\/li> <li><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"suzbijanje diskriminacije LGBT osoba, kroz izmjene postoje\u0107ih politika i zakona, usvajanje novih, te provedbu istih;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">combating discrimination against LGBT people, through changes to existing policies and legislation, the adoption of new and their implementation; <\/span><\/span><\/li> <li><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"zakonsko i podzakonsko regulisanje pristupa pravima trans* osoba;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt;&lt;br \/&gt; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">legislation and bylaw the access of the rights of trans* persons; <\/span><\/span><\/li> <li><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"zakonsko i podzakonsko regulisanje prava i obaveza koja proizilaze iz zajedni\u010dkog \u017eivota dviju osoba istoga spola (\u017eivotno partnerstvo).\">legislation and bylaw the rights and obligations arising from the cohabitation of two people of the same sex (life partnership).<\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul> ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sarajevo Open Centre as part of its program of work has been devoted to the advocacy of new public policies and the implementation of existing ones.
