She manages staff, activities, projects, and programmes, while ensuring the organisation\u2019s financial stability, transparency, and quality of work. She makes internal decisions and regularly reports to the Steering Committee, donors, and government institutions. With the approval of the Steering Committee, she contributes to setting strategic objectives and develops the organisation\u2019s strategic plans.<\/p> <p data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"922\">For more than ten years, she has been dedicated to combating gender-based violence, promoting gender equality, and advancing the rights of LGBTI people. Her experience in research, human rights monitoring, and advocacy has made a significant contribution to advancing the human rights of LGBTI+ people and women in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p> <p data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"1352\">She is active in other organisations and networks. She has served as a member of the Steering Board of the Women\u2019s Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ILGA-Europe, an international organisation bringing together more than 600 member organisations from 54 countries. She was a member of the Organising Committee of the first Pride March in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2023, she received the Franco-German Prize for Human Rights.<\/p> <p><strong>Dajana Baki\u0107<br \/> <\/strong>Operations Manager<strong><br \/> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #ffcc00;\"><a style=\"color: #ffcc00;\" href=\"mailto:dajana@soc.ba\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">dajana@soc.ba<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"1433\" data-end=\"1741\">As Operations Manager at Sarajevo Open Centre, Dajana oversees and supports the implementation of programmes and projects, leads the programme team, and monitors and guides the development of human resources and organisational culture, with a focus on inclusive and democratic decision-making and well-being.<\/p> <p data-start=\"1743\" data-end=\"2182\">Dajana is an activist from Tuzla with many years of experience in the queer and feminist movements, as well as in political engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Europe. She has played a key role in organising major events aimed at increasing the visibility and acceptance of the LGBTQI+ community. She is the founder and former director of Tuzla Open Centre and played an important role in organising the first BiH Pride March in 2019.<\/p> <p data-start=\"2184\" data-end=\"2439\">In her political career, she was elected to the Tuzla City Council in 2012. Her current advocacy work also extends to the international level through her role as President of Rainbow Rose, the LGBTQI+ network within the Party of European Socialists (PES).<\/p> <p data-start=\"2441\" data-end=\"2700\">She holds a degree in Pedagogy and Psychology from the University of Tuzla and continues her professional development in the field of work and organisational psychology. She is a certified labour law specialist and employment mentor in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p> <p><strong>Darko Pandurevi\u0107<\/strong><br \/> <span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Advocacy and Programme Manager<\/span><br \/> <a href=\"mailto:darko@soc.ba\">darko@soc.ba<\/a><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"2796\" data-end=\"3468\">Darko Pandurevi\u0107 has been part of the Sarajevo Open Centre team since 2014, where he has gained extensive experience in civil society, with a particular focus on human rights advocacy and the development of projects aimed at achieving positive social change. At SOC, he is a member of the management team and serves as Advocacy <span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">and Programme Manager<\/span>, leading activities focused on legislative and public policy reforms, promoting equality, and raising public awareness of the importance of inclusion and respect for human rights. Part of his work is dedicated to strategic communications and to the presentation and visibility of the organisation\u2019s key advocacy messages.<\/p> <p data-start=\"3470\" data-end=\"3788\">He is the author or co-author of a number of SOC publications in the field of human rights. He is the editor of the Pink Report and the Orange Report, two of Sarajevo Open Centre\u2019s key annual reports, which focus on the state of human rights of LGBTI people and gender equality in Bosnia and Herzegovina.<\/p> <p data-start=\"3790\" data-end=\"4056\">His areas of particular interest include combating discrimination, hate crimes and hate speech, gender equality, and the legal and political aspects of Bosnia and Herzegovina\u2019s European integration. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sarajevo.<\/p> <p><strong>Delila Hasanbegovi\u0107 Vukas<\/strong><br \/> Programme Coordinator<br \/> <a href=\"mailto:delila@soc.ba\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">delila@soc.ba<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"4153\" data-end=\"4747\">Delila Hasanbegovi\u0107 Vukas is a lawyer and Programme Coordinator at Sarajevo Open Centre. Her work focuses on advocating for gender equality in the areas of labour relations, the labour market, work-life balance, and sexual and reproductive health. She coordinates the \u017darana Papi\u0107 Feminist School. She also advocates for access to gender-affirming healthcare and legal gender recognition for transgender, intersex, and gender-diverse people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She coordinates the regional expansion of inclusive psychosocial support and mental health services for LGBTIQ+ people in BiH.<\/p> <p data-start=\"4749\" data-end=\"5014\">She is the author of several published works on the human rights of women and LGBTI people, gender equality, feminism, reproductive justice, and women\u2019s political participation and representation. She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sarajevo.<\/p> <p><strong>Amina Imamovi\u0107<br \/> <\/strong>Programme Coordinator<strong><br \/> <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:amina.imamovic@soc.ba\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">amina.imamovic@soc.ba<\/span><\/a><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"5116\" data-end=\"5475\">Amina Imamovi\u0107 is a human rights activist and Programme Coordinator at Sarajevo Open Centre, where she has been working since 2018 to empower the LGBTIQ+ community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is one of the founders of Kvirhana, a festival of queer culture and activism, and was a member of the Organising Committee of the first and third BiH Pride Marches.<\/p> <p data-start=\"5477\" data-end=\"5862\">She graduated in Security and Peace Studies from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Sarajevo and has further developed her expertise through programmes such as the \u017darana Papi\u0107 Feminist School and the Academy of Political Responsibility. She is also a qualified youth worker. In 2025, she received the <em data-start=\"5799\" data-end=\"5821\">Youth Activism Award<\/em> for her contribution to LGBTIQ activism.<\/p> <p><strong>Amil Brkovi\u0107<\/strong><br \/> Programme Coordinator<br \/> <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"mailto:amil@soc.ba\">amil@soc.ba<\/a><\/span><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"5942\" data-end=\"6229\">Amil Brkovi\u0107 joined the Sarajevo Open Centre team in July 2021 as a Programme Coordinator. Since 2022, he has been providing legal counselling to LGBTI people. His areas of interest include human rights and mechanisms for their protection within national and international legal systems.<\/p> <p data-start=\"6231\" data-end=\"6633\">He graduated in Law from D\u017eemal Bijedi\u0107 University in Mostar. He has received nine awards for academic achievement, most notably the Rector\u2019s Award for Best Student. He obtained his Master\u2019s degree in Law from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sarajevo, Department of State and International Public Law. He has gained professional experience in both the governmental and non-governmental sectors.<\/p> <p><strong>Ali Konti\u0107<\/strong><br \/> <span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\">Programme Coordinator<\/span><br \/> <a href=\"mailto:ali@soc.ba\">ali@soc.ba<\/a><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"6709\" data-end=\"7250\">Ali has been part of the Sarajevo Open Centre team since 2026 and is engaged in project coordination, event organisation, and administrative support. Through his work, he contributes to project implementation, communication with partners, and the organisation of educational activities in the fields of human rights, equality, and social development. He is particularly interested in education, digital literacy, social impact, and community development. He previously gained experience working in the education and non-governmental sectors.<\/p> <p data-start=\"7252\" data-end=\"7584\">He is the founder of SeniorLab, an initiative focused on providing digital and computer literacy education to older people. He has also worked as an educator in game design and digital content development, working with young people through educational and creative programmes.<\/p> <p><strong>Nejra Agi\u0107<br \/> <\/strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span dir=\"ltr\">Communications Coordinator<\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span dir=\"ltr\"><br \/> <\/span><\/span><\/strong><a href=\"mailto:nejra@soc.ba\"><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">nejra@soc.ba<\/span><\/a><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"7669\" data-end=\"8208\">Nejra Agi\u0107 is a journalism graduate and Communications Coordinator at Sarajevo Open Centre, with several years of experience in communications. Since 2019, she has worked on promoting the organisation\u2019s work by managing nearly all external communication platforms and channels, including public relations, media relations, website and social media management, content planning and creation, design, digital marketing, creative development and coordination of strategic campaigns, brand building and the promotion of the Kvirhana festival.<\/p> <p data-start=\"8210\" data-end=\"8795\">For more than three years, she worked as editor of lgbti.ba, an online platform dedicated to queer culture and activism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has completed numerous professional training programmes in social media, digital marketing, and strategic communications, continuously expanding her knowledge and skills in line with developments in communication technologies and practices. She authored recommendations on media reporting on LGBTIQ issues for the <em data-start=\"8675\" data-end=\"8724\">Guide to Reporting on Human and Minority Rights<\/em>, published by the Centre for Democracy and Human Rights in Montenegro.<\/p> <p data-start=\"8797\" data-end=\"8967\">Nejra graduated in Journalism from the University of Tuzla and is currently pursuing a Master\u2019s degree at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Sarajevo.<\/p> <p><strong>ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE DEPARTMENT<\/strong><\/p> <p><strong>Marina Jovovi\u0107<br \/> <\/strong><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Finance and Administration Manager<\/span><strong><br \/> <\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"mailto:marina@soc.ba\">marina@soc.ba<\/a><\/span><strong><br \/> <\/strong><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"9102\" data-end=\"9726\">Marina Jovovi\u0107 is Finance and Administration Manager at Sarajevo Open Centre, with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and organisational management. At SOC, she manages budgeting, financial reporting, donor fund management, and the improvement of internal policies and procedures, while providing key support to the organisation\u2019s strategic development. She has built her career in both the civil society and private sectors while continuously pursuing professional development. She also participated in the prestigious regional NGO Academy programme, where she further developed her leadership skills.<\/p> <p data-start=\"9728\" data-end=\"10119\">As a mentor within the <em data-start=\"9751\" data-end=\"9767\">Snaga lokalnog<\/em> programme, she provided support to various associations across Bosnia and Herzegovina in improving their financial management. Her work is grounded in empowerment through knowledge, accompanied by open and empathetic communication. She is particularly committed to promoting human rights, with a focus on the equality of women and the LGBTI community.<\/p> <p data-start=\"10121\" data-end=\"10257\">She graduated in Economics from the School of Economics and Business at the University of Sarajevo, majoring in Accounting and Auditing.<\/p> <p><strong>Dina Vili\u0107<\/strong><br \/> <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Senior Finances and Administration Coordinator<\/span><br \/> <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"mailto:dina@soc.ba\">dina@soc.ba<\/a><\/span><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"10359\" data-end=\"10839\">Dina has worked at Sarajevo Open Centre since 2010 as a Finance and Administration Coordinator, and since 2021 as Senior Finance and Administration Coordinator. In this role, she ensures the accuracy and efficiency of administrative and financial operations while supporting employees in their day-to-day programme and operational tasks. She also supports the Finance and Administration Manager in financial reporting and in managing the administrative aspects of human resources.<\/p> <p data-start=\"10841\" data-end=\"11426\">She has completed a range of professional training programmes, including Payroll and Employee Benefits Specialist training, Personal Data Protection, Trade Secrets and Non-Compete Obligations, and the preparation of successful project proposals for EU funding. She has also completed training in digital transformation and paperless operations, as well as advanced solutions in office and records management. She has many years of experience in finance and business administration, with a particular focus on improving business processes and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.<\/p> <p data-start=\"11428\" data-end=\"11647\">Dina Vili\u0107 holds Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees in Comparative Literature and Library Science from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Sarajevo. From 2001 to 2007, she worked as a journalist at RTV BiH\/BHT1.<\/p> <p><strong>Andrea Djakovi\u0107<br \/> <\/strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Administrative-Operations Coordinator<\/span><br \/> <a style=\"color: #ff9900;\" href=\"mailto:andrea@soc.ba\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"il\">andrea@soc.ba<\/span><\/a><\/p> <p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"11769\" data-end=\"11971\">Andrea joined the Sarajevo Open Centre team in March 2018 as an external associate supporting administration and finance.
