Faculty of Political Science, University in Belgrade, Faculty of Political Science, University of Podgorica and the NGO Sarajevo Open Centre jointly implement a scientific project called Comparative performance analysis of democratic parliaments of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. The project is being implemented within the framework of the Regional Research Promotion Programme, which is coordinated by the Institute for Central and Eastern Europe at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and project leader Professor Slavisa Orlović from the Faculty of Political Sciences University in Belgrade.

Bosnian team of this project consists of Assistant Professor Goran Marković (Law Faculty, University in East Sarajevo), Maja Sahadžić , LLM(International University Sarajevo), Damir Banović, LLM (Law Faculty, University in Sarajevo) and Sasa Gavric, MA (Sarajevo Open Centre).

In this study, our goal was to explore the following questions: legislative and control functions of parliaments, transparency in the parliament, and the impact of international actors on their work. Results were presented at a conference in Belgrade, and will be presented at a roundtables in Sarajevo and Podgorica. All papers will be published in the proceedings of the joint, the Bosnian, Montenegrin, Croatian and Serbian language and in English.
