On November 8th and 9th, three events about gender equality in higher education took place at the University of Sarajevo’s Faculty of Law, organized by Sarajevo Open Centre and the Faculty of Law.
Promotion of the event, “Gender Equality: Theory, Law, Politics: Introduction to Gender Studies for Social Studies Students,” was held on Friday, November 8th, 2019. A day later, the conference, “Gender Equality at Universities in Bosnia-Herzegovina: Regional Experiences, Local Context, Challenges Ahead,” took place, where we discussed gender mainstreaming of the teaching process, research activities, as well as the internal processes and structures within the universities, through the lens of regional and BH experiences. The conference ended with a promotion of the event “Gender Equality in Higher Education: Concepts, Practice, Challenges.”
