Education

Knowing that legislation and policies are not sufficient for the protection of human rights of LGBT persons and their inclusion in BiH society, Sarajevo Open Centre contributes to increasing awareness and knowledge about human rights violations of LGBT persons through various forms of education. Through education we want to improve their skills, which will result in sensitization work with LGBT people, concrete policy proposals, and laws related to the rights of LGBT people.

We educate:

  • judges, prosecutors
  • Police Officers
  • civil servants in the institutions dealing with human rights issues
  • future professionals who can contribute to these changes (law students  and students of journalism, young lawyers and young journalists).
