Students of all disciplines – including law and criminalistics, medicine and social science, and art – as well as all other citizens received the newest local, regional, and foreign academic literature connected with theater, film, human rights, media culture, sociology, anthropology, political philosophy, medicine, and more. The literature is from the perspective of lesbian, gay, trans*, intersex, asexual, and queer social theory as well as human rights.

The office of the library and documentation of the Center for Human Rights got a large, modern collection that Sarajevo Open Centre collected as a part of the project “Mainstreaming LGBT Human Rights in the BiH Social Sphere,” which is financed by the Royal Norwegian Embassy. The joint initiative of SOC and the Center was established with the formation of the section of studies entitled LGBT Corner at the Library of the Center. This study section is capable of offering users a wide selection of LGBT culture and rights in one place, in the section LGBT studije/Queer studije.
